Charges for advertising: There is no charge for announcements for charities, community groups or community events.   Commercial rates are listed below. We run your ad until you tell us otherwise. Please send us any changes
to continuing advertising by the 15th of the preceding month. Please include your business name and postal
address for invoicing. We invoice in arrears quarterly.
For advertising, we divide our A4 pages into 10 (2x5) roughly business card sized rectangles.

We run single, double (2 space horizontal or vertical), 4 spaces or 10 spaces.

If your ad does not fit the right shape, you may be charged for a larger size to accommodate you, or your artwork reshaped (squashed) to fit.

Colour adverts are $22 per one tenth spot.

So a whole colour page is $220.

We have limited space for colour adverts.
Please send plain text in a .doc or .docx (Microsoft Word) or for graphics .jpg or .pdf (Adobe Acrobat). Or simply email the message to us.

We prefer 300dpi images (print quality).
A .pdf document often compresses your artwork below
print quality (your PDF was probably set to ‘web’ sized) and sometimes will not look sharp.

Do not add all caps, lines, bold, italics, underlines etc.

Add your images separately where possible.

We are extremely grateful for your submissions, articles, ads, photos and suggestions.

We try to accommodate as much as we can at the lowest prices possible to provide a quality
community service.

Your patronage and patience make all this possible for the whole community.

We aim to allow up to half a page per issue for Community Groups, space permitting.
